Special Announcement!

A Successful End to Our Ministerial Search!
We are so excited to announce that First Parish Plymouth is welcoming the Rev. Rumni Saha to our congregation as our next minister. Through the hard work of the Search Committee and a touch of fate, First Parish was matched with Rev. Rumni. The Search Committee was drawn to Rumni by her compassion and service in action. She is goal-oriented and looks to create community.

I’m Rumni Saha, a proud Hindu, a faithful Unitarian Universalist and an ardent religious humanist dedicated to nurturing communities of compassion, curiosity, and courage.

My family, friends and faith root me in gratitude and remind me of life’s endless possibilities. Relationships are at the heart of who I am and how I serve — they are the ground where meaning, growth, and belonging take root.
For more information about our new minister, please check out Rumni's webpage at:.https://rumni.com/

Who We Are
Our congregation is full of people with varying religious backgrounds, from none at all to many. We come together to stand on a common ground of moral values. In good times and bad, we support one another. We welcome all who step through our doors.

Freedom of belief is foundational to Unitarian Universalism. We affirm the worth of all human beings and the integrity of individual thought and action. As a liberal religious community, we share the quest for a practical religion based on deed, not creed.

UUA Statement on Louisiana v. Callais & the Ongoing Struggle for Voting Rights!
“The Supreme Court's 6-3 decision in Louisiana v. Callais is a profound moral wound, not only to the people of Louisiana, but to the promise of a multiracial democracy. This decision invalidates Louisiana’s second Congressional district and paves the way for states to dismantle Black and Latino voting districts across the country. As Unitarian Universalists, we cannot remain silent.

“This decision is an affront to the principle of democracy and a moral injury to Unitarian Universalists, and all people of faith and conscience who believe love demands that every voice be counted and every person protected. UUs believe that the right to vote is sacred, and to deny that right is to deny one's inherent worthiness and dignity.”
