Sustainable Plymouth is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit connecting residents, organizations, and local government to encourage sustainability in the Town of Plymouth, Massachusetts. We organize educational events and volunteer opportunities, hold monthly meetings, and facilitate working groups to discuss environmental challenges and collaborate on solutions. Together We Can is a local network of various houses of worship, community leaders, and residents that are concerned with people and families in need. Our focus is helping people and families in our community faced with immigration challenges. Our work is entirely volunteer-run and is grounded in interfaith values of neighbors helping neighbors.

South Shore Community Action Council strives to eliminate poverty on the South Shore by coordinating, strengthening, and supplementing community efforts to empower and support individuals and families so they can live in decency and with dignity, realize their full potential, and participate to the extent of their capabilities in all that our communities have to offer.
We collaborate with hundreds of community partners to provide a range of programs to meet household needs, including childcare, transportation, housing and utility assistance, and food and nutrition.

First Parish donates 15% of our weekly Sunday morning offering bowl to SSCAC along with holding monthly food drives for their “Back Pack” program, which helps adults and children in need across the Plymouth area. Since 2021, First Parish members and friends have donated more than 9,000 lbs. of food and other essentials to this program.
Grandmothers Against Gun Violence is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots organization focusing on gun violence prevention and firearm safety.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a grassroots organization focusing on building relationships with elected officials to pass national, bipartisan climate policies, such as a carbon fee and dividend.
Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance (SEMPBA) is an all-volunteer charitable organization. Our mission is to build a network of federal, state, tribal, and municipal agencies, environmental organizations, businesses, and individuals to further environmental understanding, conservation, and sustainable living within the globally rare Massachusetts Coastal Pine Barrens.
