H.1014/S.588
An Act Establishing a Climate Change Superfund.
This bill will require companies that have contributed significantly to the buildup of climate-warming greenhouse gases in the atmosphere to bear a share of the costs of needed infrastructure investment, raising billions of dollars over 25 years from the 20 largest polluting companies.
H.1405/S.860
An Act establishing Medicare for all in Massachusetts.
H.1811/S.2114
An Act establishing a jail and prison construction moratorium.  Enacts a five-year pause on new prison and jail construction in order to provide time to develop more effective, community-based approaches to public safety.
H.3547/S.2290
An Act preventing gas expansion to protect climate, community health, and safety.
Prevents the expansion of gas infrastructure near Environmental Justice communities and requires gas companies and the Commonwealth to undergo planning for a just transition to green energy.
H.3464
An Act to update the bottle bill.
This bill would increase deposits, expand eligible containers, and establish a new system that would be established with the goal of having 50% of glass beverage containers returned and refilled by 2040.
H.3594/S.2328
